you may come across the following error when trying to open an EBS oracle form on Windows 7 , even though you have the latest JINITIATOR installed on your PC:
This could be a bug which is not fixed by Oracle yet. However, you can do the following to fix it:
Under <Your Computer name > >Properties> Advanced System Settings > Advanced Tab> Environment Variable, add the following Environment Variable:
Variable name: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS
Variable
value: -Djava.vendor="Sun Microsystems Inc."
and that's it !!!
